It is with great pleasure that the committee at COGS wishes to announce that our annual
Hammerhead show will return in 2011.
COGS also have the pleasure to announce that we have now joined forces with the GCN (Gaming Club Network)
to form a relationship that should hopefully propel the Hammerhead show into the must-visit show of this region.
The 2011 show will retain all of the features and facets which have made for a successful formula over the
last few years, and with the expansion into new rooms in the venue, will make the show larger than ever before.
The first 600 visitors will receive a free ‘unique’ 28-30mm miniature specifically sculptured for us for this show,
a Grand Draw ticket and limited edition show bag (plastic, but it sounds good). As with our previous Hammerhead
shows, the 2011 show will again feature all participation games, no display or demonstration games.
Visitors participating in any or all of the games on the day will receive game tokens which can be exchanged for
extra prize draw tickets. The prize draw will take place in the afternoon and winners will receive ‘Letters of Marque’
of various values which may exchanged for goods with any of the traders attending the show in 2011.
If for any reason you’ve left early, it is not a problem, as we will ring you on the phone number you will have
written on the rear of your tickets, and then we will make sure that we have your ‘LoM’ waiting for you at the next
Hammerhead show in 2012.
We are expecting to field no less than 35 traders, these are mainly manufacturers and sole distributors.
Be assured that retail resellers will be in attendance, however they will only be allowed stall space to stand
if space allows, as we want to limit stalls from just stocking the same items as other sellers as this tends to
be counterproductive.
All of this will take place on Sunday, the 13th February 2011.
